{Advocate} Visitation Space

Foster Village SWFL's Resource Center is also home to our Visitation Space. When children walk in, they immediately recognize they are in a safe and kid-friendly space designed for them. We offer a comfortable living room filled with toys, board games, and puzzles to offer moments of joy and connection for families experiencing the foster care system. Our kitchen is stocked with snacks and crafts. Our true gem in the eyes of the children is our sensory playroom which provides a cozy space to let out our wiggles, promote calm and awareness, and learn about various sensory needs. Our aim is to lend a space that restores dignity to biological families, promotes connection for foster families, and supports kinship relatives and anyone who steps in to care for our community's most vulnerable children.
