Caring for kids from hard places does not have to be a journey you take alone. There are others just like you who understand what the journey is like and are here to be a community of support for you.

At Foster Village, we help bring this community together and provide fellowship, camaraderie, relief and resources for foster, kinship, and adoptive parents who need to know they are not alone.

Foster Village SWFL is excited to offer a new monthly opportunity for caregivers to access additional donated resources for their families.

On the last Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM, we will open our storage unit for caregivers to browse available gently used donations.

While Foster Village SWFL continues to provide NEW urgent tangible needs through our Welcome Pack Program when a child first enters your home, our community has also been incredibly generous in donating gently used items that could continue helping families beyond placement day. We wanted to create a simple and consistent way for caregivers to access these additional resources each month.

Please note:

  • Inventory will vary each month and we cannot guarantee specific items or sizes.
  • This is a first-come, first-served opportunity.
  • We will only be onsite from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM.

Once you register, you will receive:

  • The temporary gate code
  • A facility map
  • Instructions on which gate to enter and where our storage unit is located

We kindly ask all families to please be respectful of the storage facility, as they have been an incredible community partner by providing additional space for resources that support the families we serve.

Additional reminders:

  • There are no public bathrooms onsite.
  • Please dispose of trash only in exterior facility trash bins.

We are excited to continue finding new ways to provide support, financial relief, and encouragement for families caring for children in our community.
