Caring for kids from hard places does not have to be a journey you take alone. There are others just like you who understand what the journey is like and are here to be a community of support for you.

At Foster Village, we help bring this community together and provide fellowship, camaraderie, relief and resources for foster, kinship, and adoptive parents who need to know they are not alone.

Join us for a compassionate and informative session presented by Guest Speaker, Gabrielle Pfieffer, LCSW. CEU credit will be awarded.

The holiday season can amplify emotions of love, loss, and longing for foster families. This training provides the opportunity to explore the unique grief that accompanies fostering during this time of year and offers concrete tools for both adults and children to manage with compassion. Incorporating hands-on activities and discussion, participants will explore coping strategies to address each stage of grief for both parents and children, as well as, ways to honor every child who has been part of their family’s story during this holiday season.

Come connect, learn, and grow alongside other foster families walking a similar path.

Dinner and childcare will be provided!
