Ashley Christoffel

Caregiver Support Coordinator

Ashley is a mom of four children — two biological and two adopted. For the past six years, she and her family have opened their home to foster children. Currently, Ashley and Robert have seven children in their beautifully busy, love-filled home. She truly believes being a mom, in all capacities, is the most important role she will ever have.

Before dedicating herself fully to her family, she worked as a 911 operator for the Cape Coral Police Department. That experience taught her a lot about helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through fostering and adoption, she has seen firsthand the challenges that children and families in the foster care system face. Over the years, she has also experienced how important support and community are — not only for foster families, but also for adoptive families, kinship caregivers, and reunified families working to rebuild and move forward. Those experiences ultimately led her to become involved with Foster Village SWFL, where she now helps support and encourage families caring for children in our community.
